Frequently asked questions
Straight answers for a fictional shop. If something reads like marketing, it is still just demo copy.
Answers
Is Leaf & Letter a real store?
No. This entire site is a static portfolio demo. The address, phone number, and social handle are placeholders.
Do you ship plants?
In a live business you might offer local delivery or pickup only. Here we skip logistics entirely—there is no checkout and no inventory system.
Can I reserve a seat for an event?
On a real site you would use a calendar or ticketing link. For this demo, use the visit page and the contact form, which intentionally does not transmit data.
Where should I park?
Fictional street parking and bike racks only. The map link on the contact page opens a generic search for the sample address.
What is the scroll-driven book on the home page?
It is a front-end animation tied to scroll position. If your operating system prefers reduced motion, the book switches to a simplified, non-animated presentation.
Does the contact form send email?
No. Submitting the form updates on-screen text only. A hidden honeypot field helps illustrate spam protection patterns for developers reviewing the demo.
